Art projects you can do after work
Welcome to the first project of Pencil it in! Each project is super easy to do, even if you’re tired after work. Today we’re doing something you did as a kid because the point of this series is to play for a few minutes a day.
This week is bubble letters!

Bubble Letters
Time: 15 minutes
Supplies: Paper, pencil, markers or colored pencils
Instructions:
Choose a word or quote that resonates with you today.
Lightly write the word in regular writing to create a skeleton for your bubble letters.
Sketch around the letters, making each letter large and puffy, like a bubble or cloud.
When you’re satisfied with the shapes, outline each letter with a marker or darker pencil.
Color in each letter as playfully as you can. Draw in the colors that make you happy! You can even draw patterns within the letters.
Add any shapes and colors that feel natural to the rest of the page.

There’s no right answer, no optimization, just intuitive decisions about what colors and shapes please you at the moment.
Take this art and put it on the fridge, like when you were a kid!
